Meet Amicah - Founder & Owner

Amicah is the founder of DC Night Nanny, a trusted provider of overnight newborn care, night nanny services, and postpartum doula support for families across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. With years of experience supporting families during the critical fourth trimester, Amicah has dedicated her career to helping parents navigate the physical, emotional, and practical transitions that come with welcoming a new baby.

As a Full Spectrum Doula, Amicah brings a compassionate and holistic approach to family care. In addition to providing expert postpartum doula and newborn care support, she has extensive experience counseling families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments, including pregnancy loss, miscarriage, and medical abortion.

Through DC Night Nanny, Amicah leads a team of experienced night nannies, postpartum doulas, and newborn care specialists who provide professional, in-home support to families adjusting to life with a newborn. Services include overnight newborn care, feeding support, newborn sleep guidance, and parental education, helping parents rest, recover, and build confidence in caring for their baby.
